Linda Gallaher Short (Priss) age 56 of Lenior City passed away Friday May 8, 2009 at 7:03pm in Parkwest Medical Center. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son Kevin Brummitt, brother Bill Gallaher, mother Betty Gallaher and mother in law Mary Short.

 

Survivors include:

Husband Ed Short of Lenior City;

Daughter Tonya Abbott of Kingston;

Grandsons Tyler Brummitt of Kingston;

Joshua Abbott of Rockwood;

Step daughter Kristy Christian of Greeneville, TN;

Father and step mother Charlie and Louise Gallaher of Kingston;

Sisters Velma Jones of Harriman;

Janice Giles of Kingston;

Kay Lichtenwalter of Knoxville;

Brother Larry Dale Gallaher of Kingston;

Special nieces Heather Hamilton and Samantha Jones;

Closest friend Marliyn of Bulls Gap, TN.

 

Funeral 8pm Monday May 11, 2009 in the Kyker Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Nickell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Monday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
