Odis Raymond Woody, age 82 of Kingston passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009. He was a member of BlairlandBaptistChurch, Loudon. He was a life-long home builder in the RoaneCounty area. He was preceded in death by his daughter Vanessa Woody, first wife Iva Woody Townson, parents Charles and Eddie Woody, brothers James Woody, Charles A. Woody and Fred Woody, daughter in law Gennie Woody.


 

Survived by his daughter Lee Ann Long and her fiancée Doug Mayer of Knoxville,

Sons and daughter in law David and Sharon Woody of Bowling Green, KY., Tony Woody of Cartersville, GA., Dusty Woody of Kingston.

Sisters and brothers in law Dora and Rob Lawhon of Loudon, Patricia and George Hendrickson of Kingston.

Brothers and sisters in law Don and Mary Woody and Joe and Betty Woody all of Kingston.

Sister in law Irene Woody of Kingston.

Former wife Debbie Woody Russell of Rockwood.

Grandchildren Austin, Drake, Emma and Katie Woody of Bowling Green, KY, Tiffany Calhoun of Cartersville, GA and Matt Schrimsher of Knoxville.

Great grandchildren Taylor and Lanie Calhoun of Cartersville, GA, Reese Suffridge of Knoxville.

Extended family of nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8pmWednesday July 22, 2009 at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston. Funeral service will follow at 8pm with the Rev. Gene Farmer officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1pm Thursday at the Kyker Funeral Home for a 2pm graveside in PaintRockBaptistChurchCemetery.
