Prayer Emblem

Wanda June Delaney Isham, beloved wife to W.M. (Marvin) Isham, completed her productive earthly journey on Saturday evening, June 8. She leaves four devoted children and their families to carry on her legacy and influence: Two sons, Kenneth (Brenda) Isham and Terry (Geri) Isham; two daughters, Haven (Ed) Lingerfelt and Nedra (Charlie) Austin. Wanda and Marvin in 71 years of marriage had seven adoring granddaughters: Kendra Isham Inman (Steve), Dana Isham Keaton (Bobby), Kristi Lingerfelt Headrick (Rolland), Alison Clark Malloy (Mason), Carmen Austin Riley (David), Tanya Isham Yarbrough (Eric) and Deana Isham Edgell (Glen). Seven great- grandsons and six great- granddaughters, four step great- grandchildren and one great- great grandson complete the family. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Zula Delaney, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Along with her fellow church members and friends, Wanda was an institution at South Harriman Baptist Church, where she served in numerous positions and was teacher in the 6/7 year Sunday School department for more than 30 years. Her legacy, both here and in heaven, includes a multitude of spiritual "children" for which she was instrumental in their spiritual births. Wanda was a living prayer warrior for all her years.

The family would like to convey a special thanks to Home Health Care of East Tennessee (Hospice) and to Edith Jones (Caregiver) for their invaluable assistance and loving care.
