Wanda Lee Cunningham, of Sweetwater, formerly of Atlanta, Georgia and San Francisco, California, passed away at 6:15 P.M. on September 22, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. She graduated form Emory University Nursing School and worked as a nurse in both Georgia and California. She attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville after working at Kimberly-Clark in Loudon and worked in the Gibbs Hall at UTK. A beloved mother, daughter, sister, and Mimi she was 58 years of age. Preceded in death by her father: Jimmie Lee Cunningham, step-father: Robert "Buddy" Dotson and sister: Jessica Cunningham Helms. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Adrianne and Shawn Lacey, son: Heath Jackson, daughter and son-in-law: Nicole Pascale and Travis Ridley, mother: Patsy Dean Dotson, all of Sweetwater, grandchildren: Anna and Dalton Mason, Mia and Jackson Varner, Lily and Xander Lacey and Parker Ridley, brother: Ricky Dotson, brothers and sisters-in-law: Allen Dotson and Mary Sweatmin, all of Sweetwater, Jimmie and Connie Cunningham, of Oak Ridge, sister and brother-in-law: Dianne and Howard Via, of Atlanta, Georgia, brother-in-law: James Helms, of Sweetwater, aunts and uncles: Wanda, Evelyn, and Shirley Dotson, Jimmie and Nancy Dean, Steve and Peggy Dean, Roger and Kit Dean, and Susan and Ronnie Barnes, special cousins: Dale and Lisa Dotson, Stephanie Dean, and Becky Jean Dotson, the fathers of her children: Richard Pascale and Scott Jackson. A special thank you to the wonderful staff of Amedisis Hospice, who helped to care for her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013, at 1:30P.M. at the Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Rev. Mike Jackson officiating, following a lunch and receiving of friends at 11:30A.M. at the home of Patsy Dotson. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.
